Formed in 2007, Uptown Swing continues to perform Fun Toe-Tapping Swing and Jazz throughout our area, preforming steady at fine venues such as Imbibe Wine, Wiki's Wine Dive and Grill, Café Med, The Padre Hotel and The Old Fashion Social Drinkery. The Trio is lead by Jazz Trumpeter Stephen Eisen who served 20 years active duty as an US Army Special Bandsman(Trumpeter), where his last assignment was a member of The Prestigious US Army Old Guard and Fife and Drum Corp(Official Escort to the President in Washington D.C). Steve also leads The Bakersfield Jazz Orchestra, teaches Music lessons, a first call Freelance Musician, and is the CEO/Founder of the BakersfieldJazzWorkshop.com which is held at TEMBLOR BREWING CO. every Tuesday.
